Three Tiers of ERDAS IMAGINE
ERDAS IMAGINE is available in three tiers, IMAGINE Essentials, IMAGINE Advantage and IMAGINE Professional. With add-on modules, each tier of ERDAS IMAGINE can be extended to meet your workflow needs. To see a list of the available modules or functionality, please hover over one of the tiers below:
Just follow the step on Windows 7 ultimate its work fine! Firstly, install on your machine ArcGis 9.3 it does not make any problem.
Here the step!
1.Install Drdas Imagine
2.Dwonload ftp://65.168.209.140/updates/i92/Released/LGGI_VistaLicenseServer.exe and Install.
Copy the license.dat and ERDAS.exe to C:\Program Files\Leica Geosystems\Shared\Bin\NTx86
and overwrite.

To setup the license, do not use the license management shortcuts installed
by the application:

\Start Menu\Programs\Leica Geosystems\Licensing Tools\License Management
\Start Menu\Programs\Leica Geosystems\Licensing Tools\License Server Setup

But use the FlexLM Tools

\Start Menu\Programs\Leica Geosystems\Licensing Tools\FlexLM Tools

Go to the tab "Config Services" and setup the flexlm service.

For example:

Service Name: ERDAS
Path to the lmgrd.exe file: C:\Program Files\Leica Geosystems\Shared\Bin\NTx86\Lmgrd.exe
Path to the license file: C:\Program Files\Leica Geosystems\Shared\Bin\NTx86\license.dat
Path to the debug log file:

Check "Start Server at Power up" and "Use Services"

Click "Save Service"

Go to the tab "Start/Stop/Reread" and click on "Start Server"

When you run the program for the first time, you will be asked to specify the license,
select "Specify the License Server (Floating License), and type "localhost"
